1. Eligibility

• Nominator: Anyone can submit a nomination; however, the person submitting the nomination (the Nominator) must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

• Nominee: The person being nominated (the Nominee) must be a current resident of the Detroit Lakes, Minnesota area.

• Service Area: The Nominee's residential property must be located within a two (2) mile radius of the Detroit Lakes city limits. Nominees who reside outside of this designated service area are not eligible to win.

• Property Type: The service is for a single-family, residential property with a standard residential driveway. Commercial properties, multi-unit dwellings (like apartment complexes or duplexes), or vacant lots are not eligible.

• Service Agreement: The Nominee must agree to allow the Giveaway Organizer access to their property for the sole purpose of providing the snow removal services.

2. Giveaway Period

The nomination period begins upon the posting of the Google Form and ends on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at 11:59 PM Central Time (CT). All nominations must be received by the deadline to be considered.

3. How to Enter

• To enter, the Nominator must fully complete and submit the official "Snow Angels" Giveaway Nomination Google Form.

• The form must include the Nominator's full name and phone number, the Nominee's full name, complete residential address (including city and zip code), phone number, and a detailed explanation of why the Nominee deserves to win the service.

• Incomplete or inaccurate nominations will be disqualified.

• Limit: There is a limit of one (1) nomination per Nominee. Multiple nominations for the same individual will only be counted as a single entry.

4. Prize and Awarding

Prize Details:

One (1) winner will receive a Full-Service Residential Snow Removal Package for the entire 2025–2026 winter season (typically defined as November 1, 2025, through April 15, 2026).

The prize includes:

• Unlimited Driveway Clearing: Driveway clearing for every snowfall of two inches (2") or more.

• Shoveling Service: Shoveling of the main walkway leading to the front door and the front steps.

• The contract will detail the exact parameters of these requirements.

The prize has no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, or substituted. Any unused portion of the service package is forfeited.

Winner Selection and Notification:

• A selection committee appointed by the Giveaway Organizer will review all eligible nominations based on the compelling nature of the story, the demonstrated need for assistance, and the Nominee’s eligibility (service area, property type). This is a need-based selection process, not a random drawing.

• The potential winner will be selected and contacted via the phone number provided in the Google Form on or about November 10, 2025.

• The Nominee will be contacted first, and upon their acceptance of the prize and confirmation of eligibility, the Nominator may also be notified.

• If the potential winner cannot be reached, does not accept the prize, or is found to be ineligible within five (5) days of initial contact, an alternate winner will be selected.

5. General Conditions

• Privacy: The information collected in this Google Form (names, addresses, phone numbers) will be kept confidential and will only be used by the Giveaway Organizer to confirm eligibility, contact the winner, and administer the giveaway.

• Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner (Nominee) grants the Giveaway Organizer the right to use their name, photo, and/or likeness for promotional purposes (e.g., social media posts, website announcements) without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The Nominee's specific personal story details may be shared in a general way without identifying the Nominator.

• Disclaimer: The Giveaway Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the process.
